Always liked the restaurant name. It immediately sounded to me like a place that was trying to do things differently and better. I think I'd have called mine The Lapsed Butcher.

Thanks aMstt. TLB could have been good. Actually, another name we considered at the time was Noble Rot.

Sometimes the food Gods align...was remembering your place in York last week and bemoaning the loss of it..open a random thread on the TwitterX and there you were after all these years! Might snaffle some recipes. Looking like you won't come back though..?
