Pease pudding - an indelible part of my mental architecture. From a Child’s Book of Nursery Rhymes.

Pease Porridge hot,

Pease Porridge cold,

Pease Porridge in the Pot

Nine Days old.

Looking it up just now Wikipedia is my friend.

The earliest recorded version of "Pease Porridge Hot" is a riddle found in John Newbery's Mother Goose's Melody (c. 1760)

Yes I was never a huge fan. My mother ate it hot, fried in bacon fat.

I can't believe Uri didn't bend one of your spoons. Or find oil under Swinegate.

He was too busy with his Sharpies and plate.

Your stories have excellent characters' names

Thanks Mark, and they certainly were characters.

Because you entertain so much with your posts, it’s very tempting to always instinctively wish to entertain in the comments about them. For once, I can resist and simply say that I always look forward to each new instalment and they never disappoint. Cracking story.

I am so very much hoping that plate will ‘find its energy’ in your Spanish decor ….

We can’t remember where it is.

Oh I was going to ask if you still had the plate?😂

Looked, but nowhere to be seen.
